One order, from the shop
to the printer.
Seven steps, in the order you would do them on a normal day. If you ship a few parcels a week and have only ever bought postage inside Etsy or Amazon, this is written for you.
Connect the shop you sell on.
Pick your marketplace, sign in to it the normal way, and say yes. That is the whole setup. Arub starts pulling your orders in within a few minutes and keeps checking for new ones all day.
- No developer keys. You sign in to your own shop, not to a developer account.
- More than one shop is fine. Connect as many as you sell on; they all feed the same list.
Every order lands in one list.
No more checking four seller apps. Orders from every shop you connected sit in a single list, newest first, with the buyer, what they bought and how old the order is. Colored tags mark anything that needs attention.
- Search that finds things. Type a name, an order number or an address.
- Your columns. Drag them into the order you want and Arub remembers it for you.
Open the order you are packing.
One screen holds everything about that order: what to send, where it goes, any note the buyer left, and the box you are putting it in. Type the box size once, or pick one of your saved boxes, and you are ready to price it.
- Saved boxes. Add the boxes you actually use and pick one instead of typing measurements.
- Arrow keys move you on. Finish one, press the arrow, the next order opens.
See what every carrier would charge.
Arub asks USPS, UPS and FedEx at the same time and lists the answers cheapest first, with the delivery date next to each price. You are not guessing whether the marketplace gave you a good rate: you can see all of them side by side.
- USPS pricing is built in. Nothing to sign up for, no volume promise, no monthly minimum.
- Already have accounts? Add your own UPS or FedEx numbers and Arub quotes your pricing too.
Buy it and print it.
Click the price you want. Arub buys the label, prints it in the size your printer expects, marks the order shipped and sends the tracking number back to the shop the order came from, so the buyer gets their email without you doing anything else.
- Tracking goes back by itself. To Etsy, Amazon, Walmart or Shopify, whichever it came from.
- Made a mistake? Void the label and the postage comes back to you.
Or do the whole day at once.
When a few orders have piled up, check them, put them in a batch, and buy every label in one go. Arub hands you a single file to print — labels and packing slips in the right order, so the stack on your printer matches the stack on your table.
- Nothing is bought twice. An order that already has a label is flagged before anything is charged.
- Print from any computer. The print agent sends a batch straight to your label printer.
Find out what shipping really costs.
Eleven reports, all over your own orders, all filtered by a date range you pick. No setup, no spreadsheet: choose a report, choose the dates, read it. Click any picture below to see it full size.
- Money in and money out. What you sold and what the labels cost, side by side.
- Parcels that stopped moving. Labels you paid for that the carrier never scanned.
- Where your work goes. Which products, which shops and which states take up your day.
Also in the set: Orders Due Today, Tracking Sent to Shops and USPS Adjustments — the postage USPS re-charges after re-weighing a parcel, matched back to the order it came from.
That is the whole job.
Shipping Hub is free for your first six months and USPS pricing is built in, so your first label is minutes away rather than a carrier application. The postage itself is yours: bought at the carrier’s price, out of your own balance or carrier account, with nothing added by us.
