Already shipping somewhere else?
Bring the history with you
Whatever order management or shipping platform you are on now, your history can come with you. Arub imports past orders, buyer addresses, line items, shipped state and tracking, so you are not starting with an empty screen and two years of work stranded in a tool you are leaving. Your carrier accounts move as they are — nothing is renegotiated and no rate changes.
Your old orders, pulled in
Settings has an Import screen that stands on its own. Point it at the platform you are leaving, and Arub pulls your orders across and deduplicates them against anything your marketplace connections have already brought in.
If your platform has an API
Paste the API credentials from your current tool and Arub reads your order history straight out of it — orders, buyer addresses, line items, shipped state and tracking numbers. Already-shipped orders arrive marked shipped rather than landing in your queue as work to do.
If it can export a file
An export is enough. Send us the file your platform produces — orders, shipments, customers, products, whatever it will give you — and it comes in the same way, matched rather than duplicated when a marketplace later hands us the same order.
If it is something else entirely
If your platform has an API or an export, we can build the import. Tell us what you are on when you sign up. We have not met a platform yet whose data we could not get at one way or another, and building the route across is our job, not yours.
What actually comes across
Orders with their buyer name, shipping address, line items, totals and dates. Shipments with their carrier, service and tracking number, so your history and your reports start full instead of empty. Customers, so a repeat buyer is recognized on day one. Products and SKUs where the source has them. Anything your old platform will not release is called out before the import runs rather than quietly dropped.
You do not have to move in one go
Run both for two weeks. Connect one shop to Arub, ship that shop's orders here, and leave the rest where they are. Nothing about connecting a shop changes the shop, and nothing stops you connecting the others later or going back.
Reasons not to switch to Arub
If one of these is you, the honest advice is to stay where you are for now. We would rather say it here than have you find out in week three.
You ship pallets or freight
Arub is parcels only. Tools that handle LTL freight alongside parcels exist and we are not one of them, and no amount of feature work this quarter changes that.
You need a carrier we do not have
We rate USPS, UPS and FedEx. If your business runs on DHL, Canada Post, regional carriers or anything international-first, the comparison will always come out short here.
You need a connector we have not built
Four marketplaces and your own Shopify storefront. If you sell somewhere else and that channel is the bulk of your orders, the queue will be missing the part that matters.
You cannot carry any risk on young software
Arub is new. If a bad afternoon would genuinely hurt your business, a platform with a decade of other people's bad afternoons already behind it is the safer choice, and we would rather say so here.
And the reason to switch
Shipping software stops at the label. If you spend as much time fixing titles, photos, prices and stock across marketplaces as you do packing boxes, Arub is doing both halves of that job on one login and one bill — and the price you sign up at is the price you keep.
What switching actually involves
Connect one shop
Approve Arub on the marketplace you sell the most on. Takes a couple of minutes and changes nothing on the shop.
Add your carriers
Paste the same USPS, UPS or FedEx credentials you use today, or use the managed USPS option and add your own later.
Import the history
From Settings, pull your past orders out of the platform you are leaving so reports and customer history start full rather than empty.
Ship one parcel
Quote it, buy the label, print it. If that felt better than what you do today, connect the rest of the shops.
Try it beside what you use now.
